I'm back with more wedding crafts to show you....

Here are my Bride & Groom Candy Bar Sliders I made from Cheryl Seslar's graphics. I like making the sliders better than wrappers. I think they turned out cute! I cut out an additional picture of the upper part of the bride and then layered a piece of tulle behind it so she looks like she has a real veil. I also cut an additional jacket for the groom and used pop dots to attach it for some dimension.

I found lots of directions on the web for wedding gown and tuxedo box favors and I combined several of them to come up with these. They are basically a 2-4-6-8 box with a little tweeking.

Of course the wedding gown box has a veil on the back.

Then I moved on to Mother's Day and came up with another Candy Bar Slider for Mom. Extra layer was added on the hat, hair, bouquet and shoes for more dimension.

Well, that's about it for today. I'll be back soon with more new crafts. Thanks for stopping by.

Aren't these bears just adorable!

I found these bear graphics over at Digi Web Studio and just fell in love with them. I made these tags and now I'm working on some cards. Speaking of cards, I had this kit for a wedding card but didn't realize it was so beautiful until I made one. The picture doesn't really show how beautiful it is...I embellished the dress with pearls and glitter and added a piece of tulle for the veil. I also did a few more wedding related items that I will post a little later.

Thanks for stopping by.

I can't believe February is almost over!

I'm still working hard on printables and other projects for my Etsy store. Here are a few of my printables now in the store. These first two are Easel cards....I tried them for the first time a few weeks ago and they are soooooo easy! I love making them and they look so nice. These are birthday cards for a first birthday.

The next two are baby shower printable kits that have lots of goodies to make any baby shower special. Here is the blue and pink and now I am working on a green one....just in case someone doesn't know what they are having yet.

By the way, all the graphics used in these are by Cheryl Seslar Designs.
I'm trying new card styles and today I got a template kit for a window card. I can't wait to get one done and see how that turns out.
I'll be back with more crafts later. Thanks for stopping by.

We are snowed in today so I get to craft all day!!

Well, the snow storm has finally hit the south!!! I'm not sure how many inches of snow we have but its more than I have ever seen at once. The sun is out now and it is already starting to melt.

So today I get to work on more printables for my Etsy store. Here is one I just listed...a card for Mom. The graphics are by Cheryl Seslar.

And this is what the finished card looks like. I'll be back later with more. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow....its been so long since I blogged!

I guess I got busy getting things ready for my craft shows at Christmas and ignored my blog. Then .... well I guess you could say "life just got in the way!" Things have been fairly good but it seems as we get older there are more things that have to be done and less time to do them not to mention that it nows takes us longer to get them done! Seems my days now are filled with doctors appointments, checking on the inlaws, trying to clean the house and wondering what in the world to cook for dinner.

I am still trying to find time to craft! I have been working hard on things to add to my Etsy shop. My latest thing has been "printables". I'll try to get some pics of them posted here in a day or two but if you have a few minutes, drop by my shop and take a look. Hopefully now I am back in blogging mode!

Blog Candy Alert....

Over on Dustin Pike's blog he has offered a challenge to all cardmakers to donate cards for the boutique at the Festival of Trees to benefit the Primary Children’s Medical Center. He is offering some free graphics and will be giving away a hand sculpted dragon to one very lucky participant! Click on the link above and go on over to his site to read all about it. He also has a link directly to the Festival of Trees website.

Still working on Christmas crafts

Sorry I haven't posted lately. Hubby has been sick with the flu and I have been trying not to get it. In between running around to get things for him, I did find a little time to do some crafting. I have less than 2 months until my first show and really needed to get things done.
Here are a couple of the projects I worked on this week. The Candy Cane Cuties are a graphics kit that I got last year and had almost forgotten about. The artist is Libby Merk of Doodle Bee Art Studio LLC and you can find her work here. Libby is the sister of my favorite artist Laurie Furnell and just as talented. The Santa ornament is similar to one I had seen on the internet but didn't have a pattern. I made several attempts to come up with one of my own and this is the end result. I think he is kind of cute but would like him better with a Georgia Bulldog hat!
I have also been designing some new 2010 calendars and will try to post a few of them when I get them made.
Thanks for stopping by.....have a great day!!!
